Ginger Snaps

Ginger Snappers!


I love having a stand mixer, they make baking tolerable
Mix brown sugar, vegetable earl, molasses, and an egg
 Mix flour, baking soda, salt, cloves, cinnamon, ginger in bowl. Then mix into molasses mixture
 In stages
 Until smooth, don't over mix it
Poop poops
 Roll in sugar
 Place on baking sheet
 I lined mine with wax paper, your call
 Bake about 10 - 15 minutes depending on how snappy you like em'
 Transfer to cooling rack
and then proceed to eat mass amounts of them

First Mix:
1 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup molasses
1 egg

Second Mix:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger

For Coating:
1/3 cup white sugar

Mix both the mixes together then roll into 1 inch balls. Coat with sugar and bake for 10-15 minutes
